Yoga Fundamentals w/Kat Seeley - Tuesdays, 6:00-6:50pm
The basic, foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen, & promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, & ease of movement in this beginners class. Full body relaxation & balance are the goals of this class, as we make a full circuit of the body's range of motion with standing poses, twists, back bends, forward folds, & hip openers.
Beginner Yoga w/Karen Beckley - Wednesdays, 5:15-6:15pm; Sundays, 4:00-4:50pm
Students in this beginner class will be introduced to yoga postures through step-by-step verbal descriptions & demonstrations. Emphasis is placed on the student's understanding, safety, & stability within each pose. If you have never tried yoga, this class is perfect for you. It is designed to meet the needs of those new to yoga, as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic yoga poses.
Beginner Yoga w/Kat Seeley - Thursdays, 6:00-7:00pm
This beginners class is for anyone new to yoga as well as those who prefer a slower paces class, with additional instruction in the poses. This class focuses on correct alignment, making modifications within poses, & linking breath with movement to develop confidence & stability in your yoga practices.
Patient Centered Yoga Class w/Dr. Amber Beckley - Fridays, 12:30-1:30pm
Yoga can have numerous variations in technique, so it is important you are doing the correct style to best suit the treatment and management of your symptoms. Some styles are more effective for lower back pain, while others can be used to improve flexibility and arthritis. Various yoga poses also influence muscle activation. Here at Beckley Chiropractic, Dr. Beckley is happy to assess your current yoga poses and how they are impacting your condition and treatment to guide you in a direction that will help you achieve your health goals.
Restorative Chair Yoga w/Karen Beckley - Sundays, 5:00-5:50pm
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting in a chair or standing, using the chair for support. It is especially helpful to those who have limited mobility but still want to reap the health benefits that yoga offers.
Classes are $10 per class or 6 classes for $55 for members of Beckley Chiropractic. Non-member classes are $100 for 6 or $20 per class.
